Contaminated Soil In Construction Projects

Contaminated soil is a threat for the human being for their existence in the world. There are many places where the soil is being contaminated for various reasons. Soil contamination or soil pollution as part of land degradation is mainly caused by the presence of xenobiotic that are human-made chemicals or other alteration in the natural soil environment. It is basically caused by industrial activity, agricultural chemicals, or improper disposal of waste or some petroleum imitation. There are many chemicals and the most common chemicals involved are petroleum hydrocarbons, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, lead, and many other heavy metals.

An oil spill is the release of a liquid petroleum hydrocarbon into the soil as well as the environment, especially the marine ecosystem, due to human activity, and is a form of soil pollution. Oil spills may be caused by various reasons like due to releases of crude oil from tankers, offshore platforms, drilling rigs, and wells, as well as spills of refined petroleum products like gasoline, diesel and their by-products. Soil can be also by contaminated heavier fuels used by large ships such as bunker fuel, or the spill of any oily refuse or waste oil. Contaminated soil is very much harmful to the human as well as all the animals. Contaminated soil  can also be harmful effects on ecosystems and human, plants and animal health. So, you can test the soil whether it is contaminated or not. If the soil is contaminated with the soil then you have to take the help of some constructor who can solve the problem.
